Let this fact sink in. 2-3 Fijians undergo diabetes related limb amputations every day (amputations occur every 8-12 hours in Fiji). Quite often the amputee is the sole bread winner also. There is something wrong if, as a nation, we can't see the urgency in addressing Diabetes.
