@beyang In fact, for a use-case I have now, remediating a ton of deepsec (or other security issue aggregator) findings is a really good exemplar? Not just doing the work in parallel but verifying it.
@beyang This is what the explainer blog post should have been, to me it seemed like the crux. I don't think it'd be that hard to spell-out a few worktrees vs orbs scenarios explicitly to illustrate the benefit.
@beyang@thorstenball@toolmantim How do you operate on social media if some balls memes convinces you the need to write this kind of post? That's utterly bizarre.
I do intend to try orbs at some point. I don't personally feel a huge pain point yet, and the blog post explaining them felt lacking to me fwiw.
@EricTopol It isn't a term for that specifically. It refers to a containment mechanism. By analogy this is like complaining 'cardiac insult' is completely inappropriate to describe a heart attack.
@cnakazawa Idk how many I've seen/missed in the feed. Having visited profile: I follow plenty of engineers with a photography hobby. If I see a holiday-like photo my brain just skips the text (I'm usually looking for tech content). It seems many of your posts have these.
@rauchg@dok2001@OpenRouter Genuine ask: why do you think broadcasting a perplexing latency comparison, even if it is sourced from a customer, is good marketing?
@jhicks154@SidChatterjee@nbbaier@rustforjsdev Also curious how these refunds were handled 'a long time ago', but not for 3/3 in this thread. Leaning towards 'these get refunded if and only if you harass enough on https://t.co/FWSVwcrExZ'. @PaddleHQ maybe you could help @SidChatterjee :).
@sqs There are write permissions of these I would never grant because agents don't unwind the principles behind infra-as-code. I'm not sure this question is specific enough because service-by-service risk differs, and these CLIs' surface area is massive.
@sidchatterjee@nbbaier@rustforjsdev@jhicks154 As of when? I have no record of a refund in either bank (form roughly nov 2024 onwards) or email from paddle, can certainly find the original receipt from 2021 though.
