I walked outside to get the mail today. When I came back in, my 89 year old mom, who has Alzheimer’s looked at me and asked, “Are you my son?”
I smiled and said “Yes. Are you my mother?”
She smiled, and said “That was the
name of your favorite book when you were really young.”
We used to read “Are You My Mother” back in the mid 1970s.
Alzheimer’s is full of surprises.
@McDonaldsCanada That simply is not true. I order every morning thru the app and my cost did not change when your coffee dropped in price. Same order, same store, same regular price.
@McDonaldsCanada why is your $1 coffee pricing not available using your app? I've bought coffee three times since you started and pay full price each time?
@Tim_Bousquet Thank you for your posts today, I'm sure they were not easy to get out quickly while paying attention to the "testimony". It was nice to read the lawyers trying to pull truth from this guy who clearly was not taking his obligations seriously today.
@costcocanada hey Costco Dartmouth Crossing, please train your employees to recognize your membership cards in an app and not to argue at the door, that they aren't accepted. It was good enough at the pharmacy and the checkout!
@Tim_Bousquet I believe that this is just the start of the lawsuits. If I'm not mistaken this only represents a small number of the victims parents and there are numerous other cases pending. Plus punitive damages will be awarded today in this case and should be a multiple of yesterday's sum.
@thelauracoates Any chance Nelson is an evil genius and knows he's doing so poorly he's now just intentionally tanking to set up an appeal? No one in their right mind could possibly believe this is a defense.
@SUBWAYCanada what's the sense of an app and contactless curbside pickup if your staff cannot properly complete the order and if we have to sit outside 15 minutes after getting the message the order is ready and still have to go in to get it?
@_shaunwest@PGATOUR2K@hb_studios Shucks, sounds rough! Why is the game not released at midnight in Nova Scotia? I'm literally just down the highway!!!!! 🥺
@TGCTours@PGATOUR2K I joined the TGC family on the release day for 2019 and absolutely loved it. Watching the gameplay video last night has me excited for the 2021 version. And I could not be more proud that it's coming out of HB Studios only a short drive from my home in HRM!
@Acosta@weijia Because these are the days when sarcasm is exactly what's needed from a leader. Make no mistake, someone told him how it was playing and be is trying to pivot to save face without accepting responsibility just like every other time.
@Acosta thank you so much for asking tough questions and not backing down. The country should be able to see through it but they just don't seem to. Keep up the good speak to bring truth to power even when power won't speak truth to you!
@kfc KFC Tacoma, Dartmouth, NS has the worst service. Just tried entering an online order only to find the app doesn't work. Drove to the store hoping they would honour but instead got rudeness and, "that has nothing to do with us" #KFCCustomerServiceIsDead
@McDonaldsCanada Yes, I've figured that out but I don't understand why you have an app that is intuitive. If I irder three items individually in person the cashier doesn't need to ask if I want to bundle. Very poor experience.. As is waiting days for a response on social media.
@McDonaldsCanada Love the mobile app but can you explain why the cost for an order (coffee, muffin, McMuffin) is nearly $1 more by using the app than it is in the drive-thru? $6.29 vs. $5.38…seems like a premium for not waiting in line.
@McDonaldsCanada It was the location in Dartmouth Crossing but I think I know what happened. The app isn't intuitive to price based on a combination order and I ordered a coffee and muffin. Had I selected the combo option the price reflects that but the app should do that automatically.
