Just a reminder, Harry Kane won:
— Bundesliga Golden Boot
— Champions League Golden Boot
— Euro Golden Boot
— European Golden Shoe
and finished 13th in The Ballon D’or.
If Mbappe wins The Ballon D’or, I want Bayern to completely boycott the ceremony.
🚨Roy Keane on Cole Palmer’s controversial red-card situation against Tottenham:
🗣️ Roy Keane: “Everyone is talking about what happened afterwards. I’m looking at how the whole thing started.
“Van de Ven goes in on Caicedo. Caicedo gets the ball to Palmer, Palmer starts moving forward, and Fernández goes to ground to stop him. The ball strikes his hand, the referee blows for a foul, and Palmer comes in with that challenge on Fernández.
“Now, I look at that and ask myself: what exactly are we doing here? The referee sees the incident, looks at the challenge, and decides it isn’t a red card? Really? What are the rules anymore?
“I understand football is an emotional game. I understand players get frustrated, especially in a match like this. But you cannot tell me that just because Palmer is angry about the handball or the decision, he is entitled to go flying into another player. That is not how it works.
“And let’s be honest, if a player from a smaller club makes that sort of challenge on a Chelsea player, do you think we would be having this conversation? I suspect we’d be talking about a red card before the replay had even finished.
“What annoys me most is the inconsistency. One week, a referee tells us that player safety is the priority. The next week, a challenge comes in that deserves serious scrutiny, and suddenly we’re discussing intent, momentum, and whether the player meant it.
“I’m not interested in all the excuses. The referee has to judge what actually happened. You can lose control of the ball, lose your temper, lose your head — but you cannot lose responsibility for your actions.
“And Palmer is a talented player. Nobody is questioning that. He’s one of Chelsea’s most important players, and he can decide games in a moment. But talent doesn’t give you special treatment. If anything, the bigger the player, the greater the responsibility to set an example.
“Chelsea will probably argue that Fernández was trying to stop the attack with his hand. Tottenham will have their own complaints about the challenge that followed. Fine. Let them argue. But the officials have to apply the rules properly, not make decisions based on who is involved or how big the match is.
“My problem with modern football is that everybody wants to debate the decision for three days, but nobody wants to explain the standard. If that’s a red card on Saturday, it has to be a red card on Sunday.
You cannot have one rule for a superstar and another for everybody else. Palmer can be brilliant with the ball at his feet, but when he loses his head, the referee’s job is not to protect his reputation. It’s to enforce the rules. Otherwise, we’re not refereeing football anymore we’re just negotiating with the players!”
@LastWordOnSpurs It’s sad to say this but we are refereed differently to a lot of the Clubs in the Premier League, it does feel like an agenda when it’s week-after-week!
🚨IF IT IS ANY OTHER CLUB THAN TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR THIS IS A STRAIGHT RED CARD!
❌THE AGENDA IS REAL, SPURS DO NOT GET ANY OF THESE DECISIONS!
#THFC| #COYS| #TOTTENHAM | #SPURS | #CHETOT

- defender bumps into hand which makes arm bend
- elbow shape is formed by bend but elbow doesn’t move
- defender’s momentum takes him into stationary elbow

🚨 #THFC finished one place outside the Champions League positions in four of the eight seasons in which Manchester City qualified for Europe's elite competition. 🫣
Over the four seasons that #THFC missed out, Manchester City earned £148.2m from the competition, with Tottenham taking £29.9m from the Europa League.
Spurs also finished behind Manchester City in the Premier League table six times, with the cumulative prize money difference worth £6.6m.
Taking into account all competitions, that produced a net financial loss for Spurs of £119.9m. 😬💰
@DaleJohnsonBBC
If your @xavisimons your furious with the so called “guidelines” in this shit show of a league,
Remains the only one out of countless tackles like this to receive an “obvious” red card.
The word “obvious and reckless” was used during his tackle last season on van dijk
🚨 Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak was added to the UK’s official list of recognised diplomats in 2020.
The status grants him diplomatic immunity from criminal proceedings and, in most circumstances, protection from civil proceedings while in the UK.

@kimmoFC No different to what Arsenal do every week. Perfect example when Rice kicked Roger’s off the ball 2 weeks ago. Didnt say anything then did you?
