Day 6: Bash scripting. Built new-project: one command scaffolds a Python project (src/, tests, pyproject, .gitignore, venv) and runs pytest → 2 passed. Every script now starts with set -euo pipefail. Open to Java/Python SWE roles. #BuildInPublic#Bash

Day 5: processes, ports & env vars. Ran a server on :8000, found it with ss -tulpn, curled it, killed it. Moved my API key into a chmod-600 .env instead of code. And ~/bin + PATH turned my scripts into real commands. #BuildInPublic#Linux

Day 4: Unix pipes are an assembly line. grep ",absent$" attendance.csv | cut -d, -f3 | sort | uniq -c | sort -rn | head -5 ranked my most-absent students in one line. Early-warning v0, no Python needed. #BuildInPublic#Linux

Day 2/~: Linux files & folders. mkdir -p, cp -r, mv (which is also rename!), rm -ri, nano. Scariest lesson: rm has no Recycle Bin, and one stray space in "rm -rf ~ /dir" deletes your whole home. Always pwd + ls first. #BuildInPublic#Linux#AI

Day 3: Linux permissions finally make sense. r=4 w=2 x=1, so 755 = rwxr-xr-x and my .env with API keys gets 600. Also learned why Ubuntu blocks global pip installs: use a venv per project (uv venv). #BuildInPublic#Linux

Day 1/~ of my AI Engineering journey: installed WSL2 Ubuntu on Windows 10 and took my first steps in Linux. pwd, ls -la, cd. Lesson: everything lives under one root "/", and my work lives in ~ not /mnt/c. #BuildInPublic#AIEngineering

I spent 9 months building an LMS for 10,000 Nigerian schools - one deployment, database, and complete isolation. Here's the architecture that makes cross-tenant architecturally impossible. Full breakdown on LinkedIn 👇

Just wrote about how I built bulletproof Paystack payments in Django on RAYIYS - covering:
Idempotency, Race condition, Webhooks and Atomic inventory updates.
Credits issued exactly once. Every time.
