Sincere thanks to Tom Lantos for speaking out on this urgent human rights issue. We urge Saudi Arabia to release him through the intervention of the Royal Court. Humanity, justice, and compassion must prevail. His freedom cannot wait.

India doesn’t need lectures on monopolies from the world’s richest man. If Starlink can genuinely help rural India, let it compete fairly and follow Indian laws like every other company.
But don’t dress up your business interests as a humanitarian mission. India’s digital revolution was built by Indian engineers, telecom companies, public investment & policies that brought data prices among the world’s lowest.
And calling Ambani the Prime Minister is cheap sarcasm, not an argument. India is a democracy, not a battlefield for billionaires to settle business scores.
On behalf of the American Hindu community, we appeal @SecRubio's urgent U.S. diplomatic intervention and coordination with Saudi authorities to stay the pending execution of Anojan Sivarasa, a 24-year-old Sri Lankan Hindu migrant worker sentenced to death over a social media comment. Given the extreme time sensitivity following the recent appellate court ruling, swift action and high-level engagement are vital to securing a humanitarian resolution and his safe repatriation.
The narrative that Biden & Harris were unpopular is not why Democrats lose.
Democrats lose because white voters are racist.
That’s it. White liberals really need to stop making excuses for it.
A lifetime ago, campaigning for a seat in Afghanistan’s Parliament. No grand halls, no fancy stages. Just the mountains, my people, and conversations about the future we dreamed of building together.
We had something worth fighting for. We still do. 🇦🇫
Euthanasia is not a sign of success, development, progress, or innovation.
Governments that offer their citizens death as treatment are declaring defeat and failure.
Pretending MAID is a benefit or service is a poor attempt to cover for woefully substandard health care.

A foreign woman can sit across the table from Taliban leaders, but an Afghan girl cannot sit in a classroom beyond Grade 6. What kind of morality welcomes foreign women while imprisoning the dreams of its own daughters?

The diaspora of Tibetans are spread all over the world like a broken beads of rosary. But little is known about this group of Tibetans, who live on the northernmost part of Myanmar formerly known as Burma, bordering south eastern Tibet, in the State of Kachin.
Due to violations of dress codes or other arbitrary restrictions, Afghan women and girls are being arrested, detained and threatened with arrest by Taliban authorities, the UN warned as record numbers of returnees struggle to rebuild their lives back home. https://t.co/9SsGZh0RdH
“COMPLICIT IN GENOCIDE”: U.N. Whistleblower Denounces Nobel Winner Navi Pillay For Betraying China's Uyghurs
A U.N. whistleblower today accused today's Nobel peace prize laureate of being “complicit in genocide.”
Emma Reilly, a human rights lawyer who worked under Navi Pillay, alleges that under her leadership the U.N. human rights office handed dissidents’ names to China, and ignored her warnings about the danger to them and their families.
“Unfortunately, the winner is an absolute disgrace,” said Emma Reilly,” and accused her of being “quite literally complicit in the Uyghur genocide. If she didn't have diplomatic immunity, three victims would have sued her.”
“How much has China subverted human rights? Well, Navi Pillay just got the Nobel Peace Prize. The same Navi Pillay who was High Commissioner when I first reported the UN handing names of dissidents to China. Her response? Bring her a different chair, she was uncomfortable.”
“Navi Pillay oversaw the communication of names of over 50 dissidents to China. Families of the dissidents testified in court.”
“They testified, under oath, to their family members being intimidated, arbitrarily detained, tortured, disappeared, and even killed in concentration camps. This is an absolute travesty of 'peace.'
“All staffers [of Pillay] who directly handed over names were promoted... I was fired for speaking up.”

China wants the world to see its rise as a story of development and progress.
But Uyghurs remind us of another reality: economic power means little when fundamental human rights and cultural freedoms are restricted.

🚨 Amnesty International urges Saudi Arabia to quash Anojan's death sentence and release him
Amnesty International has called on Saudi Arabia to quash the death sentence imposed on Sivarasa Anojan, the Tamil migrant worker from Kalmunai condemned over a social media post, and to release him immediately and unconditionally, warning that his execution would amount to an arbitrary deprivation of life.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the rights organisation said Anojan's conviction stemmed entirely from his exercise of freedom of expression, after a Saudi appeal court sentenced him to death over a Facebook comment deemed insulting to the Prophet Muhammad. Amnesty said he was denied access to a lawyer from the moment of his arrest until his initial sentencing.
🚨 Family says Anojan attacked with sharp weapon in Saudi jail as Sri Lankan diplomats denied access
Sivarasa Anojan, the Eelam Tamil migrant worker on death row in Saudi Arabia, was attacked with a sharp weapon in Dammam prison, his family says, contradicting Saudi prison authorities' claim that he suffered only fingernail scratches, as Sri Lankan diplomats have been denied access to see him.
Raising the case in the Sri Lankan parliament on Wednesday, the Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) Batticaloa MP @ShanakiyanR said the family had been told Anojan was stabbed in the head by a fellow inmate after being moved within the prison, and that his life was in danger.
"The accounts of the family and the authorities clearly contradict each other," Rasamanickam said, calling for officials to verify Anojan's condition directly and ensure his protection.
Please, do not stay silent for Anojan
Pray for him, stand with him, and help his story be heard
Raise your voice for Anojan Sivarasa
