In this clear footage, you can easily notice, BA 6047 Lieutenant Colonel Md.Redwanul Islam, commanding officer of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), taking targeted shots using an AK-47 assault rifle. Simultaneously, members of the Bangladesh Police are using Chinese Type 56 SKS rifles to aim and shoot at unarmed civilians.
The use of such lethal weapons to disperse a civilian crowd is a clear violation of the Geneva Conventions; lethal force against unarmed civilians is explicitly prohibited and is classified as a grave breach of international humanitarian law. Bangladesh is a signatory to these conventions. This constitutes a war crime.

On Friday night, July 19th, a group of men identifying themselves as police officers apprehended Nahid Islam, one of the coordinators of the ongoing student protest, from his friend's residence. They forcibly placed him into a vehicle belonging to the police or Border Guard Bangladesh.
Blindfolded and handcuffed, Nahid was taken to an undisclosed location and interrogated. The attached photograph illustrates the brutal methods used during his interrogation, which I have purposely blurred.
Nahid was left unconscious on the streets on Sunday morning, July 21st. After regaining some consciousness, he rented a three-wheeler to reach home before being hospitalized.
His ordeal continued at the hospital. When journalists visited him for interviews, authorities pressured him to leave, citing safety concerns. “The hospital canceled my admission,” he said, noting that he had to seek treatment under unsafe conditions.
I hope this helps you understand the state of affairs in Bangladesh.
I'm at a loss for words to describe this. Not once did Hasina mention the students who lost their lives during the recent protests during her latest presser with business leaders. The police killed at least 170 students (the actual number is likely higher), but she didn't express any condolences, nor did she address the police brutality. All she said was that the protest was orchestrated by '@BJI_Official and @bdbnp78,' and she will go to any extent to arrest and punish the perpetrators.
This is sickening. What a classic case of a dictator she is!
We are living in the 21st century, where the internet is vital for communication. However, our government cut off all communication since Thursday. As a result, civilians are suffering, unable to manage blood donations or receive help, left to die.
#BDBleeding#StepDownHasina
This morning, I spoke with two doctors in Dhaka. Both of them mentioned that due to limited means of communication, they are struggling to arrange blood for the injured and critically injured protesters.
The blood banks in Dhaka are almost empty. Because of the curfew and ongoing clashes, donors from around Dhaka are unable to come. The shortage of required blood has led to many deaths. All hospital staff have come forward to donate blood, but the supply is inadequate compared to the demand.
JUST IN — The Bangladesh government could stamp out the civil unrest in “no more than half an hour” if it unleashed the full force of its might, said Mohammad A. Arafat, an information minister, at a press conference broadcast on 21 July.

What is happening in Bangladesh ?
A new catastrophe in another Muslim country !
Student demonstrations have come out demanding some internal improvements & calling for the resignation of the prime minister, but soon the chaos spread & things got mixed up with each other.
The government confronted the students with the security forces & the army with brutality!
Bangladesh will be a new painful story unless neighbors intervene to calm down. But who qualifies for it ?
Pakistan or India, for which both have similar problems !

See how a member of Hasina's party is firing bullets alongside the police. The person identified, who is wearing a white Panjabi, is the current General Secretary of the Brahmanbaria Chhatra League.
"The death toll in ongoing Bangladeshi student protests reached 105 late Friday, according to an AFP count of victims from hospitals around the country.
A combined 24 deaths were reported across three hospitals in the capital Dhaka and another six deaths in the northern city of Rangpur, in addition to 75 deaths previously reported."
Reports @AFP
The government has shut down the internet and fired tear gas from helicopters. Now curfew starts today, and the army has orders to shoot violators. How can this be a people's republic? #BangladeshQuothaMovement
