@celestialbe1ng Otherwise the sacred valley in Peru (loads of little villages between Pisac and Urubamba). There’s an expat community there with organic produce and cute little cafes. There are some hot springs ~1h drive away.

@celestialbe1ng Was just in Saas-Fee Switzerland. It’s at 1,800m but surrounded by 13 peaks above 4,000 meters so lots of high altitude hiking options. It’s also car-free.

@celestialbe1ng It’s also because the situation is worse in the US than in EU (and it’s one big English speaking market). EU regulation is stricter (eg on hormones in animals, genetic engineered crops, etc). Result: more people care and are willing to pay for this stuff in the US.

@celestialbe1ng Also to note: Switzerland is low income tax and no capital gains tax but there’s a tax on net worth (liquid and illiquid assets). So for HNWI it can get expensive and can make financial planning complicated.

@celestialbe1ng ❤️ Switzerland. It’s clean, quiet, & offers quality lifestyle. I buy fresh produce at the farm down the road. Depending on where one lives there’s also an international community. Can get a bit boring though.

Still like London. The best is to split time between both.

- You use your real name
- You’ve set a backup email address that’s Gmail
- You’ve used a credit card to pay for proton pro

@celestialbe1ng 100%. History of ED too. My nutritionist (in 1999) made me put on a bit of weight to (1) realize it wasn’t that bad and (2) kicked off my metabolism, which led to healthy fat loss and muscle gain (I was a skinny fat with 42% fat).

@robinmonotti From a tech design POV this looks more like Chaum’s e-cash than Bitcoin. There were many electronic cash projects in the 90’s. This is just one of them. Says nothing more.

@istirred @robinmonotti Similar but not the same. BTC is pseudo-anonymous, it was never designed to be fully anon but take the right precautions and one can stay anon. CBCDs will likely require ID and network nodes permissioned (ie controlled).
