"Their (Muhammad & Ali) outward aspect is human, while their inward reality is Godly. They manifested to creation in human forms so that creation would be capable of beholding them."
"And We would have certainly clothed him with that which they clothe themselves."(6:9)
"(Regarding the Prophet Muhammad saws) His spirit is a copy of Absolute Oneness in Divinity; his body is the form of the meanings of the Heavenly Dominion and the Malakut; and his heart is the treasury of the Ever-Living One who never dies."
-Ziyarat of Amir al-Mu'mineen
“The unexamined life is not worth living.” — Socrates
The longer I spend on X, the more I understand why that sentence was dangerous.
Anytime I present a data point that unsettles someone’s dogma, watch what happens. The argument itself is abandoned and instead come the whataboutisms, sophistry, appeals to tribe, attacks on motive, and increasingly elaborate ways of protecting the conclusion they already possessed (probably inherited too).
There's a term for this in Psychology: cognitive miserliness. Thinking deeply is expensive. It is far easier to defend an inherited framework than to reopen the question, even if it may benefit human well-being.
Bloom’s taxonomy of objective learning captures the same hierarchy in learning: remembering and understanding are relatively easy. Analyzing and evaluating are harder if not painful.
Socrates built his life around examination. Athens eventually put him on trial for impiety and corrupting the youth, convicted him, and sentenced him to death.
There is something timeless about that...
People will tolerate questions until the questions begin reaching the foundations beneath their identity.
The accusation of destroying one's faith from questioning, couldn't be more wrong. Rather, what remains when faith isn't being protected by dogma, brings us one step closer to the truth.
@Jay_49erTikTok The quran contains variants, the quran points out a category and the ahroof are ways to get to said category, the bible is as preserved as a reddit post relax bro 😭😭
@eternalbread_ Cuz i dont take my understanding from sunni tafsir genuis. I don't laugh at Christianity it is a religion from allah and jesus is god! And so is Muhammad! And so is imam ali!
@eternalbread_ Have you ever read the shia tafsir on what all those mean✌️😭 yk your so quick to laugh but when you say jesus is a rock were expected to be serious.
In very early shia text the least subjected to fabrication we get the purist teachings of Muhammad (ص)
Muhammad (ص), imam Ali (ع) and Jesus (ع) were all one person. They taught the same thing the claimed to be the same thing they were all one with the father
They were all messianic figures establishing a just state 💯
#Christian #shia #mystic #Khomeinist #islam #messiah @destroysunnis
Jesus was crucified now what ✌️😭
Christians love to use this polemic like it means anything,
And never think that those who were killed in the cause of Allah are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.
Al-imran 3:169
Jesus died and he came back and he worshipped Muhammad as the king of kings 😁
