In Brussels last week, I had the privilege of engaging with representatives of the European Parliament on opportunities to strengthen Nigeria’s biosafety and biosecurity systems through strategic partnerships, technical cooperation, and knowledge exchange. Our discussions focused on building stronger regulatory frameworks and enhancing institutional capacity in line with global best practices.
As Nigeria advances its global engagement under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, such collaborations are essential to protecting our environment, safeguarding biodiversity, strengthening food systems, and promoting responsible innovation. We also explored areas where international cooperation can support sustainable development and national resilience.
At the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA), we remain committed to ensuring that every international engagement translates into tangible benefits for Nigerians and contributes to building a modern, trusted and globally respected biosafety and biosecurity system.

@inecnigeria Dear @inecnigeria, I recently applied for a replacement of my lost PVC and also transferred it to a new polling unit close to my house. The details on my PVC I received in January 2023 is still that of my old polling unit.
Welcome to February 2023.
The month of love.
The month when Nigeria Decides. Please vote wisely!
The Month of my birth, that of my sister and my 99 friends.
The month of possibility!!
