We saw it with Messi's Inter Miami and the Club World Cup, then Cristiano escaping long ban v Ireland and now Balogun.
FIFA basically saying "it's our competition so we can make up the rules as we go along"
This can’t possibly be the incident that I’m seeing everyone claim was a clear penalty. It’s simulation plain and simple and Kane is one of the best at doing this exact move
Diomande off to rotate with Doue and play a couple of Ligue 1 games to the easiest league title in existence. Doesn’t fancy the challenge of being the next Mo breaking records and playing every week sound with me.
@Knox_Harrington For me the move would be to shift Gakpo on while his stocks are somewhat high (WC performances in mind). If he plays a bit part next season his value tanks. Reinvest in a young versatile attacker with ability to play wide but primarily back up/rotation for Isak
I’d actually love this (I think, maybe...until he misses that first 1v1 of course). Obviously his finishing can’t be relied upon but with Heki out there’s much worse options. His availability, then the work rate and runs would at least create the openings for others
ATENCIÓN.
Darwin Núñez retorna al Liverpool. La confirmación no se dará en estos días ya que el jugador pidió estar concentrado con la Selección uruguaya.

Don’t know what’s funnier about this, they don’t get it at all (Pep and Slot have won the PL & before Arteta) or that they ordered a retractable floor stand like they’re setting up a stall at a village fair
Met police have confirmed this is the biggest football parade ever held in the country after drafting in support from Merseyside and Manchester police to help with the celebrations. Estimated 1.5m+.
@TheTacticalBrit Not that much of a head scratcher… a club that wants a head coach, wouldn’t sign a manager. If LFC sacked Slot months ago they still wouldn’t have signed Xabi. Spoke to him while at Bayer and level of control he wanted (and got promised at Chelsea) was never going to happen
@Itshaber They never wanted Alonso. Manager vs Head coach. They spoke to Alonso while he was at Bayer and they didn’t want to give him the control he wanted as the owners want a certain structure in place. Can be fuming as a fan but it was never going to happen.
@Micks2B Surely the first season was less Slot and more hangover from Klopp in reality. This season has had adversity no denying it but there’s been no signs of improvement all season which would suggest there was anything to ‘first season’ Slot they got ‘right’.
@thatrexguy@LFCFansCorner The reality is though we were never going to appoint Xabi while the structure of the club is what it is. Even if it’s not Hughes/Edwards, FSG will want a similar structure in place going forward. Not that I agree with it, Xabi was the dream.
If there is truth to the latest rumours I hope they announce it before Sunday. It hasn't worked out the last 12 months and most will be happy to move on but give the fans in the ground a chance to thank him for delivering number 20.
Lots of talk Slot will be gone after Sunday. Not usually a fan of hiring and firing but it's become untenable at this point. No improvement or even signs of going in the right direction since what seemed the breaking point for most (City, Forest & PSV defeats).
Years it took to win the PL trophy:
Klopp: 5
Arteta: 7
Net Spend:
Klopp: £63m
Arteta: £540m
By the time Arteta won the league, Klopp won every trophy possible.
Put some respect on Jurgen Klopp’s name.
