@TikeKhenchiDia Also BBSR airport takes up a huge amount of valuable city space which can be provisioned for IT parks ,malls school housing etc.Govt should plan a new airport preferably around Cuttack with 5000 acres earmarked so it can serve larger area Cuttack Bbsr Anugul etc @OURCUTTACK1
@bpradhanodisha@aaibpiairport Demolish the BBSR airport.Bhubhaneswar deserves a state of the art new airport outside the city with modern runways not this bus stand which takes up huge of portion of city’s valuable space and decreases the FSI of the city and makes it look like a urban village
@otvnews Govt should move this airport out of city and Build a large airport like Hyderabad,Bangalore or newly opened Vizag airport instead of doing small expansion inside the city and taking up city space.
@DataGuyRedux First build where required .Bhubhaneswar-Cuttack NH widening and ORR around BBSR-Cuttack like Hyderabad should be first priority not this.
@smashru197 Are there enough large urban settlements in Odisha for this kind of service to be introduced other than Cuttack-Bhubhaneswar and few other areas?Govt main focus should be create multiple large urban settlements first.
@MohanMOdisha@InvestInOdisha@CMO_Odisha There is no new investment in IT sectors at all. New youth graduating from our colleges have to go and settle in Hyderabad and Bangalore.Please do something about this.
@CMO_Odisha@SecyChief see see!

At present, about 924 acres have been identified for a multi-modal logistics park near Navi Mumbai International Airport.
This raises a question—why can’t Odisha consider Cuttack as a future international aviation hub?
Near Cuttack Airport, @AdaniOnline already has around 1000 acres of land.
This area has strong potential to be developed into a multi-modal logistics park, sunrise manufacturing zone, tech park, university hub, and other modern industries.
If we compare with Mumbai’s logistics park location, Cuttack already has many natural and existing advantages that our ancestors have given us.
The area is well connected by the East Coast Railway, and multiple nearby railway stations could be developed into a suburban rail network like mumbai and berlin. It also has water connectivity through the Mahanadi River and Rengali Canal.
In terms of roads, the proposed 6lane in NH-55 and the upcoming Capital Region Ring Road (6 lane) will improve connectivity further. These routes, along with rail links directly have connected acre area to Cuttack Airport and NH-16 (6lane)
Given all these advantages, it would be worth considering why this land is being used for cement and thermal power plants instead of future-focused, non-polluting industrie, sunrise manufacturing and multimodal logistice hub.

@TikeKhenchiDia@Ranjan_Nayak Move the airport out of the city.Take some large parcel of land like 3000-4000 acres.
The current airport is eating up prime city space and not letting FSI to increase leading to a unplanned urban sprawl
@eastern_gangas But it’s not enough to cater to its people who have to move out for high paying jobs.Odisha should have tier 1city to compete with other states.
