The NDC Logo Is Part of the Message.

Selling, displaying, advertising and promoting the party logo are some of the important tasks ahead of us. Nigerians at the grassroots must be able to identify the authentic and official NDC logo wherever they see it.

That is why, during our visit yesterday, I had a special session with some of our people at the polling unit level to explain and demonstrate the authentic and official NDC party logo to them.

1. OGUN STATE (6th August, 2026): SIX KIDNAPPED STUDENTS RESCUED / THREE KIDNAPPERS NEUTRALIZED / FIREARM AND CASH RECOVERED

✅ Six Gateway ICT Polytechnic students who were kidnapped at Ipara were released unhurt following intensive security pressure.
✅ Anti-Kidnapping and DSS operatives subsequently stormed the kidnappers' hideout and engaged the hoodlums in a gun duel.
✅ Three kidnappers were neutralized, while others escaped with gunshot wounds.
✅ One AK-47 rifle, one empty magazine, three mobile phones and ₦2.3 million cash were recovered.

2. KATSINA STATE (8th August, 2026): ARMED BANDIT NEUTRALIZED / SUSPECT ARRESTED / FIREARM AND RUSTLED CATTLE RECOVERED / TWO VICTIMS RESCUED

✅ Police VCRU, vigilante personnel and tactical units engaged armed bandits in a fierce gun battle at Ganzaki Hill, Malumfashi LGA.
✅ One armed bandit was neutralized, while another injured bandit was arrested during subsequent cordon and search operations.
✅ Two kidnapped children were rescued unhurt.
✅ One AK-47 rifle loaded with 20 rounds of live ammunition and five rustled animals were recovered.

3. IMO STATE (8th August, 2026): 11 SUSPECTED IPOB/ESN MEMBERS ARRESTED / BULLET-PROOF VEST RECOVERED

✅ Police operatives acting on credible intelligence stormed a suspected IPOB/ESN militia hideout at Odumara ORODO, Mbaitoli LGA.
✅ Eleven suspects were arrested during the operation.
✅ One charm-fortified bullet-proof vest made of wood was recovered.

4. PLATEAU STATE (7th August, 2026): THREE SUSPECTS ARRESTED / FOILED KIDNAPPING

✅ Police operatives acting on credible intelligence arrested three suspects, including two personnel of sister security agencies.
✅ The suspects allegedly conspired to kidnap the wives of two bishops in Jos.
✅ The suspects confessed to the crime, while efforts are ongoing to arrest other members of the gang.

5. BAUCHI STATE (8th August, 2026): MURDER SUSPECT ARRESTED / DANE GUN RECOVERED

✅ Police operatives responded to a shooting incident in Gobur Village, Duguri District, and evacuated the victim to the hospital.
✅ The victim was subsequently certified dead, while the suspected assailant was arrested.
✅ One Dane gun allegedly used in the incident was recovered as an exhibit.

6. GOMBE STATE (7th–8th August, 2026): CULPABLE HOMICIDE SUSPECT ARRESTED

✅ Police operatives arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal assault of a 39-year-old man in the bush at Gona.

7. ENUGU STATE (8th August, 2026): FIVE KIDNAPPED VICTIMS RESCUED / VEHICLE RECOVERED

✅ Combined security teams traced kidnappers to Anuka Forest Reserve near Kogi State and engaged them in a gun duel.
✅ The hoodlums fled, abandoning five kidnapped victims, who were rescued unhurt without payment of ransom.
✅ One Hijet mini bus belonging to one of the rescued victims was recovered.
🔹 Status: SCID Enugu Investigating.

8. ENUGU STATE (8th August, 2026): TWO KIDNAPPED VICTIMS RESCUED

✅ Two kidnapped victims abducted from St. Joseph Catholic Church, Inoyi Community, Affa, Udi LGA, were released unhurt following intense pressure and pursuit by joint security forces.
✅ The victims were debriefed and successfully reunited with their families.
🔹 Status: SCID Enugu Investigating.

9. ONDO STATE (7th August, 2026): ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED / FIREARM AND AMMUNITION RECOVERED

✅ Police operatives on stop-and-search duty along Owo-Ute Road intercepted and arrested a suspected armed robber.
✅ One cut-to-size pistol and four rounds of live cartridge ammunition were recovered from the suspect.

Asiwaju @officialABAT, I am genuinely happy for you. There are many achievements a man may record in public life, but among the greatest blessings bestowed upon any father is to see his values reflected in his children. In Seyi, I see a young man who is working hard to justify the confidence reposed in him and to earn his place through effort and commitment.

I recently visited the City Boy Movement office, and Seyi personally took me through the facility. What I encountered was impressive, not because of the building itself, but because of the thinking behind it.

It was a truly pan-Nigerian operation. Young Nigerians from different regions, backgrounds, and faiths were working together toward a common objective. The team was gender-balanced. Diversity and inclusivity were not slogans on a wall; they were visible in practice. Persons living with disabilities had their own space and representation. Every detail suggested careful planning and deliberate leadership.

What struck me most, however, was not the structure but the culture. I watched Seyi interact with his team. I saw him share snacks with members of his back-end staff. There was no air of superiority, no unnecessary distance. Respect flowed naturally. The people around him appeared motivated not merely because they worked with him, but because they felt valued by him.

Leadership is often revealed in moments when cameras are absent and speeches are not being made. Character is found in the little things.

Mr. President, I do not know what special favour from God has produced such a blessing, but I can say without reservation that you have a son worthy of admiration. As for me, I see in Seyi a younger brother whose dedication, energy, and commitment to service make me proud.

ST, keep going. The seeds you are planting today will bear fruit tomorrow. The hours you spend, the sacrifices you make, and the bridges you are building across our national divides will not go unnoticed.

When the votes are counted and the election season has passed, I have little doubt that your efforts would have added significantly to the cause you believe in. More importantly, you would have demonstrated that political engagement can be organised, inclusive, respectful, and purposeful.

May the Almighty reward your labour, strengthen your resolve, and continue to guide your steps.

Every father desires a son who will add value to his legacy. Every nation needs young men and women prepared to work, unite people, and serve with humility. From what I have seen, Seyi Tinubu is striving to be such a man.

Character is what you do when no one is watching. Keep building, ST.
