@GLEAMINGROCKET Maybe we're simply shifting where we use our brains.
Before AI: tactical thinking - how do I execute this?
With AI: strategic thinking - what should I build, why, and how do I direct the tools to get there?
Less cognitive effort on execution doesn't necessarily mean less thinking
@AracaUwU@VisualFidelity “Not explicitly given the 3D scene” does not mean “has no information about lighting.” That distinction seems to be where you’re permanently stuck.
Anyway, I’ve explained it enough. You can have the last word. I won’t be reading it.
@AracaUwU@VisualFidelity You’re confusing “doesn’t have access to the 3D scene” with “can’t infer lighting.” Shadows, highlights, reflections and shading are all 2D cues to light direction and intensity. That’s literally what inference means. You’re arguing against the word you don’t understand.
