New from @musc_star@JNIS_BMJ “Time is brain”—but it’s the procedure clock that bites. {Fast hands save brains} Every extra 5 min of thrombectomy time costs ~80–100 min of onset2puncture time in outcome impact @alex_spiotta@JAGrossbergMD@BrianHoward_MD https://t.co/gOmgUoOCyJ
I am humbled & grateful forreceiving the honor of my life with an honorary fellowship Ad Hominem from the world's oldest surgical association, the @RCSEd.
The history of that place is unbelievable (think Lister & antisepsis).
The warmth & humility of the people are unforgettable.
As of today, I am the James A. Hunter Endowed chair in Surgery @RushMedical. Growing up in Lebanon during the war, I wasn’t sure what the future will hold for me. I am very thankful for God, my parents and my family for believing in me.
