We were promised guidance on 3 May. Surprise surprise another deadline missed (we were suspicious when the date given was a bank holiday)
Will we get guidance on residentials in England today? With less than 2 weeks to go before the first trips can go ahead we hope so! 🤞
Please sign as once these centres are gone I doubt they will be back for many years. They also employ many permanent and freelance staff. Warwickshire County Council : We the undersigned petition the council to prevent the closure of Mar... https://t.co/OTnwKg259t via @UKChange
Areas such as Conwy, Anglesey & Gwynedd have rates which are lower than Tier 1 areas in England such as Cornwall. Yet, the Welsh Labour Government is planning to lump them in with high incidence areas in Wales such as Blaenau Gwent. It makes no sense & will be hugely damaging.
I'm very concerned & hope I'm wrong, but the @WelshGovernment cabinet meets today to discuss further restrictions. Many rumours circulating that hospitality may be hit again with no cost-benefit analysis undertaken & Covid decisions made without any regard to the economy.
I had submitted an urgent topical question to the health minister where I wanted him to elaborate on his comments & briefings on placing the whole of Wales into a “Tier 3” set of restrictions, but unfortunately this has been declined this morning by the presiding officer.

Science tells us that the outdoors is the best place to be, so I think the time has come for @visitsnowdonia with its 823 square miles (2,130 km2) to open, as its sends a message of hope. Brecon & Pembrokeshire take the lead in part reopening👏👏 so what are you waiting for??
From 1 of our members. Our visitors R now cancelling & rebooking in England & Scotland where there is certainty. How many businesses have 2 close before we can receive some guidance.Sadly, we R now cutting staff as they won’t be needed & this is self inflicted by @WelshGovernment
Copy of a letter that Rob Roberts, Delyn MP was delighted to support for the #hospitality & #tourism sector along with 85 fellow Conservative MPs led by @AnthonyMangnal1. More action is required to safeguard these sectors and we call on the Government to deliver for these areas.
People who work in tourism are normally super welcoming but please, no non essential travel - if you are heading for Cornwall, Dorset, Norfolk, North Wales, Lakes, Highlands & Islands etc you are spreading the virus to remote rural areas with fewer hospitals and GPs #StayAtHome
2/2 We are lucky in Gwynedd and Anglesey. We currently have low levels of virus circulating, however tourists coming to the region potentially bring that with them putting others lives at risk.
Enjoy the outdoors, but do it at home, sensibly and with social distancing!
Good morning from a bright cool #Llanberis I'm BEGGING all those tourists who came to Snowdonia yesterday to please stay at home It's everyone's social responsibility to heed the Gov advice ESSENTIAL TRAVEL ONLY. Have fun folks and remember keep washing your hands and stay safe.
