Rubbish pic of one of the 3 amazing Great egret at @Natures_Voice North Warren on Wednesday! They hadn't been invented in my day... another benefit of getting #backtobirding 😉 @SuffolkAONB @AldeburghLife
Here is an interesting blog explaining universal nest bricks. Bricks will be available as a nest site for the whole lifetime of the building and will benefit Swifts, House Sparrows and both Blue/Great Tits. Even House Martins have been seen to use them. https://t.co/rHA0SskOks
@BirdGuides Making noise or leaving droppings are not reasons given under the Wildlife Act. Would be good to share with the councillors the various studies showing how and why gull culling doesn't work @WildJustice_org@craniac15
Beautiful #goldenplover ✅ for the year: 2x flocks of 28-30 birds Gedgrave Marshes opposite @OrfordNessNT & @Natures_Voice Havergate Island.
12 Brent, 160 Canada, 40 Greylag and busy LBBG roost. Then I got soaked along with a kestrel 🌧 #BirdsSeenIn2022
Guess the feather! Hint: Thorpeness near Slaughden in Suffolk, not the alpine accentor 😮 (lime for scale, and G&T later) #BirdsSeenIn2022 @SuffolkAONB @SuffolkBirdGrp
302 days in and my first common pochard of the year. The highs and lows of #backtobirding. Actually, no lows, and no pic, but a welcome✅to my Suffolk list and first ever visit to the glorious @SWTLackfordLake!
Great place @suffolkwildlife#BirdsSeenIn2022
@Deebs_birding@RSPBAireValley Just stumbled upon your big 200 diary, great reading. I've stayed local for my first year, 133 for Suffolk and counting... 61 days to go!
#nocmigging seems like Christmas morning on repeat every time you go downstairs to check what flew overhead while you slept...
Can't stop thinking about it after reading Mike Unwin's piece in @Natures_Voice. #nocmig - yet another benefit of getting #backtobirding
@shorelinekelly Just getting #backtobirding and often feel unnecessarily conscious about miss-IDs. Have learnt so much through from others of all ages and stages over the past 2 years!
