In Canada, as the use of uncertified OTs has increased significantly, it has become apparent that there is an alarming number of people who are comfortable with the idea of just about anyone "teaching" their children so long as schools remain open.

BREAKING: Country music superstar Garth Brooks defies Republicans, declares that he will absolutely serve Bud Light as his new bar — and if conservatives don’t like it, they can take their business elsewhere.
But it gets even better….
The country icon declared that, “If you come into this bar, you just love one another. Otherwise, there are plenty of other places on Lower Broadway to go. Diversity. Inclusiveness. That's me. It's always been me. I think that diversity is the answer to the problems that are here and the answer to the problems that are coming. So I love diversity."
Well said, Garth!
Please retweet and ❤️ to thank Garth Brooks for standing up for the LGBTQ+ community — and consider investing in Tribel, a “woke” new Twitter competitor that is currently doing a round of equity crowdfunding and just blew past $1 million raised from 2,650 of its users. If you want to own a small piece of what may be the “next big thing” in social media, here is the link to do so https://t.co/7S6ULL2pfG, and here is the link to download the new Tribel app that Elon Musk is so afraid of: https://t.co/HnJzSKj4Hp
@lumpytrader@SylvieHoffman1@Teachers__Unite .. gov't did take $ from the fund in a surplus year... supposed to replace it but never did...and yes, I am aware that the government matches contributions, but when they freely take money from the fund that we contributed to, meant for our retirement.. it's wrong
@lumpytrader@SylvieHoffman1@Teachers__Unite You don't know what you are talking about...we vote to find ways to cover shortfalls by increasing contributions or changing the benefits...just like we did about 10 years ago when the choice we collectively made was to decrease indexation to make up the shortfall. Also...
Aging Ontario population: We need more HCW workers and facilities.
Stephen Lecce and Monte McNaughton: Ontario needs more skilled tradespeople.
Everyone: We need more affordable housing.
Doug Ford: Free tuition to police school it is then!
🧵I just finished reading the 18 page Better Schools And Student Outcomes Act (Bill 98). @Sflecce keeps making these claims outlined below in his clip. As I was reading the Bill, I searched really hard to find reference to all of these items. 🤷🏼♀️
@organicvx @moneymarknyc@derrick_helton@CalltoActivism You really need to understand what reporters do for a living. Every. Single. Piece. Is vetted and decided upon, which info is "newsworthy" and which isn't. Picking and choosing is their literal job.
We should not be saving tax dollars by eliminating health coverage for Ontarians who otherwise qualify.
Homelessness, addictions, lack of friend/family support, disability, and/or mental illness, should not be barriers to obtaining public insurance.
The next time the Premier & MoH speak, I'd love an answer to this:
Gov't funding to extend OR hrs allowed existing staff to perform 67K extra surgeries since Aug'21 returning waitlists to pre-COVID levels.
Why create a parallel private system if funding extended OR hrs works?
@CheriDiNovo@fordnation Under Doug Ford, public health care is hugely underfunded. But there is no limit to the money he has for private health care. Not coincidentally, private health care providers are huge donors to the Ontario PCs.
@CheriDiNovo@fordnation That is the plan. Ford knows many people will accept for profit health care, if non profit health care isn’t providing timely care. Underfunding health care, created hallway medicine problems. Now COVID is helping his privatization plan. The worse it is, the better for Ford!
The CEO-to-worker pay gap is now 351-to-1. In 1965, the ratio was 21-to-1. Trickle down economics is nothing more than a cruel hoax designed to enrich bankers and wealthy executives.
