Do you condemn the Warsaw Ghetto uprising? Do you condemn the ANC bombings? Do you condemn the Armenian resistance? Do you condemn the Haitian revolutionaries ? Do you condemn Herschel Grynszpan? Do you condemn Louis Riel? Do you condemn Bhagat Singh? Do you condemn Nat Turner?
October 7th was the bravest display of anti-colonial resistance the world had seen since Algeria, Kenya, and Vietnam. It shattered Israel's invincibility, exposed Zionism, and cracked America's imperial hold on the Middle East.
Now that the war drums against Cuba are sounding again, it would be useful to reflect on Fidel Castro's speech in 1989, as Cuba was commemorating the lives of Cuban soldiers that gave their lives for African liberation:
"To the Revolution and socialism, we owe everything we are today. If capitalism were ever to return to Cuba, our independence and sovereignty would disappear forever; we would be an extension of Miami, a mere appendage of the Yankee empire, the fulfillment of that repugnant prophecy by a president of the United States in the last century, when they were thinking of annexing our island, who said that it would fall into that country’s hands like a ripe fruit. To prevent it today, tomorrow, and forever, there will be an entire people willing to die. Once again it is fitting to repeat here, before his own grave, Maceo’s immortal phrase: “Whoever tries to take possession of Cuba will gather the dust of its soil drenched in blood, if he does not perish in the struggle.”
Today is the 21st anniversary of the US assassination of El Comandante Filiberto Ojeda Rios. He was murdered and humiliated for being a revolutionary independentista and calling for an end to US colonialism in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 #FREEPUERTORICO#PRLibre#USAoutofPuertoRico
Wilber remains gravely ill, with the bullet still lodged in his body, and he remains in ICE detention.
According to the detainee who spoke with his wife, Wilber appeared discolored, extremely swollen, and in significant pain.
Our immediate demands are clear: restore Wilber’s communication privileges and take him back to the hospital. He needs access to appropriate medical care.
Thank you to everyone who has continued supporting Wilber and his family.

Today is war criminal Barack Obama’s birthday.
In 2009, Haiti’s🇭🇹 parliament passed a significant minimum wage increase to around $5 per day improve conditions for its working class.
Obama intervened to force Haiti to keep the minimum wage at $0.31 per hour. His administration was concerned that the minimum wage increase to the poverty wage of $5 a day would raise costs for US companies sourcing garments from Haiti.
Today, Israel has lost one of its greatest friends.
Senator Lindsey Graham stood with Israel not because it was easy, but because he believed it was right. His unwavering support, courage, and moral clarity earned him the admiration of millions of Israelis.
The State of Israel will always remember his friendship, his unwavering support, and his steadfast commitment to Israel’s security.
Heartfelt condolences to his family and to the American people.
May his memory be a blessing.
