@JimBobH72 @ThanksCancer 4 months post #bc treatment. Per my doctor I am cured. Per my reality I am healing. I don’t know that I’ll ever feel like it’s gone gone. I am forever changed - physically and psychologically.
@deb_maes61@ThanksCancer We skipped Christmas at my MIL’s because she and 2 of the grandkids had symptoms and tested positive for COVID. But we are the problem. #weruinedChristmas
@ThanksCancer Thank you for this conversation. I have the anchor but I’ve had 2 surgeries and my 2 are still not a pair. All the replies let me know that this is not uncommon. Still frustrating but not uncommon.
@bubblybubba@ThanksCancer Yes. I find that my fight or flight response is perpetually triggered these days. I am doing a lot of meditation, deep breathing and relaxation yoga in an attempt to stay calm. #cancer#trauma

@CancerCanuck@ThanksCancer I got an infection and they had to open my surgical incision and clean it while I was awake. The nurse stood at the base of my procedure chair and held my foot the whole time. It was so comforting.
@CancerCanuck@ThanksCancer All the nurses in recovery told me how wonderful my reconstruction looked and what a pro my doctor was. It was a huge help psychologically.
