We now live in a time when consumer Christianity has become the accepted norm, & all-out engagement with & in Jesus’ kingdom...is regarded as somewhat “overdoing it.” By contrast, the biblical pattern is...“Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only. — Dallas Willard
But even that statement understates the detrimental impact of virtual church. As @BarnaGroup previously reported, 1/3 of Christians have stopped going to church (online or in person) in the last year!
This statistic could just as easily read “fully 1 in 3 Christians disagree that online sermons deliver as much spiritual benefit as in person sermons.”
