A child has been abducted from South Sioux City in/near South Sioux City Nebraska. The South Sioux City Police Department is looking for a child who was last seen at Near Harney Elementary and is believed to be in danger. The child's name is Ivan Gonzales.

He is a 10 years 1 month old male, with Black hair that was last seen wearing Navy Shirt with Hot Pink Palm Tree, Khaki Shorts, Black Shoes and wearing glasses..

The child may be in the company of Unknown . They may be traveling in a White 2014 Dodge Ram Extended Cab Pickup that was last seen heading Unknown .

NEW: Mother who left her 16-month-old daughter home alone while she went on a 10 day vacation sentenced to life in prison.

32-year-old Kristel Candelario left Detroit for vacation in Puerto Rico, leaving her daughter home alone.

The baby girl was found soiled with urine and feces in her playpen when Candelario finally returned.

The baby, Jailyn, died of starvation and dehydration.

When in court, Candelario tried being the victim and said she was suffering from depression.

"I’m extremely hurt about everything that happened. I am not trying to justify my actions, but nobody knew how much I was suffering and what I was going through."

Candelario was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
