@TokenBrice (In fact that's not quite right, a quarter of a half of Balancer swap fees accrue to the Balancer treasury: but this is net positive for $BAL token holders also)
@TokenBrice Apologies, so currently half of Balancer swap fees get re-distributed to those who lock $BAL (in USD).
Soon there'll also be protocol revenue generated from underlying pool tokens deposited in lending protocols (currently all that revenue goes to liquidity providers).
@NateHindman I suppose because in most cases the higher yield on farming tokens offsets the IL risk, generally IL protected positions on e.g. Bancor have lower yields than protocols where there is IL exposure.
I'll be joined by the composers at @beethoven_x for an AMA at 15:00 UTC on Wednesday October 27th in the @BalancerLabs discord. This is a symphony you won't want to miss!
@AltcoinSherpa I think active concentrated liquidity management will be a major thing next few months, especially when these platforms make it possible for projects to launch liquidity mining on top & trident launches as well.
@TeddyRoosevalt@SolanaMBS All activity around floor, though. Not much else shifted since beginning of the month.
Find it interesting how that fluxes with everything else.
@NateHindman@litocoen@VisorFinance (When I say challenge is gas: re-balancing incurs gas, so strategies you can run on eth mainnet with the type of TVL they have are limited)
@NateHindman@litocoen@VisorFinance Main challenge on eth mainnet is gas. I'm going to be curious to see what the performance of strategies looks like on arbitrum by comparison.
@0xLaoZi@danielesesta sounds like a recipe for a balancer stablepool
there must be folk out there that want to see a $mim/$mai/$ust stablepool on polygon.... right?
