Listen to this smart woman. It’s why the silent majority is not being heard right now. But history shows us this over & over, yet still we haven’t learnt.
@Peter_Fitz Fitz, the issue is what rights do you believe the trans women have and if those rights conflict with women's rights, what should happen? also if you don't call out the bad actors, you are not engaging with this issue seriously.

I was interviewed by Hillary Cass during the research phase of the Cass Review.
She asked me two significant questions.
1. Did I think the transgender movement was adult led or child led?
2. Did I think there was a link between autistic children and trans children?
In my interview with her, I said it was adult led and child amplified.
I have never shared my response, but now she is supporting the puberty blocker trial and not addressing the adult led implications of transgender indoctrination of children, I have a moral obligation option to release this communication.

Dear Hillary and Sally,
I was further reflecting on the questions that you were asking yesterday, in particular on incidents of autism in trans identifying students. As I reflect back on the trans-identifying students that I have had, I would not say that any were obviously autistic and I don't recall ever seeing a diagnosis for autism in the college notes. What I would say though, and with a degree of certainty, is that those who were transitioning were all "socially vulnerable." Students in this category are those that are not fitting in with their peer groups as well as they could be. There are a myriad of reasons for this, ranging from problems in their home life, to natural self-doubt, poor academic performance, or to some other childhood trauma.
The transgender communities then offer these students a place of unequivocal belonging. I then wonder if the act of transition acts like a rite of passage into these groups, after which the much sought after belonging is assured.
So rather than the focus on autism as a possible primary cause, then maybe the focus should be on the general vulnerability that we all experience at various times in our life and to varying degrees. The combination of recession and darker times ahead along and higher expectations on children increases the sense of vulnerability they may feel.
What makes the transgender movement so pernicious now is that it is always there. It is present in schools, hospitals, social groups, on the street, on-line etc. It has penetrated all aspects of society. I would even wonder if targeted advertising is used to proactively reach out to vulnerable candidates. So, as soon as someone is feeling down the trans movement can immediately capitalise on the vulnerability and from a multitude of directions. In this respect its genesis and success lies in marketing rather than medicine. This also supports the concept of the adult led model.
This reflection is also supported by Marlborough College's total lack of trans-identifying students, where the inability of the movement to gain a toehold prevents the normal mechanisms of perpetuation from being implanted.
With regards,
Kevin
