@VV_watch @crossbordercap Liquidity makes additional money available for lending. Liquidity along with spending either by public or private sector fuels asset prices. Which assets go up generally depends on who is borrowing. If you have a loaded gun it doesn’t tell you who will fire it and when.
@Crowded_Mkt_Rpt This is emerging style recession that’s pretty normal in emerging countries. It comes as currency depreciation as inflationary rather than deflationary . Seems like people in US are experiencing for first time.
@thelykeion @RogerHirst3@mnicoletos Just bought subscription to Lykeion. I love the content. The latest publication about Indonesia was really impressive. It’s really surprising most of this not talked by any media outlets. Keep up the good work.
@LynAldenContact Inflation should be aligned with change in demographics and independent of financial engineering. In an event of acute emergencies fiscal policies should be geared towards expenses and not monetary policies.
@george__mack 1. Marriage rates would drop to less than 10% globally.
2. Movies would be made complete digitally without real actors or voice artist.
3. Majority of Canada would have Asian population.
4. Top metropolitan cities such as NYC would be half vacant and high crime rates.
@IGiant97@zacguignard Market forces specifically drive inflationary or deflationary pressure and not currency. These forces are driven by demographics. Currency and credit conditions disrupts natural cycles of those forces distorting them and increasing their volatility.
@IGiant97@zacguignard I can argue the opposite and say fiat system encourages reckless spending and we see great wealth gap increasingly yoy which is unsustainable.
Credit adds gasoline to such system and we are near the brink or collapse of such a system.
@Trezor This is really a big disappointment. Isn’t the point of Trezor wallet is to have better privacy? What’s the point of using it if the surveillance is same as coinbase? Really disappointed selling by Trezor.
