@EarnYourLeisure I am so very sad to read of Junior Bridgeman's passing; and at such a young age. He was a pleasure to work with when I started working with what was then the NBRPA. His success on and off the court ensure a lasting legacy. RIPP, kind Sir.

Trump Fact ✅ Did he save #HBCUs?
✔️ HBCUs received funding under the same program during President Barack Obama’s time in the White House. It’s a stretch to say Trump "saved" them.
✔️ Before the FUTURE Act kicked in, HBCUs had to ask Congress each year to renew the mandatory funding. Trump signed the FUTURE act so they didn't need Congress anymore.
✔️ Trump’s White House repeatedly requested less in funding than Congress provided.
So when he says he saved HBCUs, he telling you to be thankful to him for not cutting funding, because he really wanted to.

As I was lamenting to my husband on the phone that I was a bit sad to wake up alone in another city on my birthday, the @Delta team in DC showed up with this surprise! 🥰❤️
@Luvvie The last 7 yrs I have been Mom's caregiver. Thru 2 successful bouts w/cancer & dementia now diagnosed as Alzheimer's; I want to read & should write this book. But of course I have no time to think. LOL More challenging than raising children, bkz it's coupled w/living grief.💔🙏🏽
I’m cleaning out at my mom’s house and have discovered a treasure trove of letters, pictures, etc from college. I guess kids in school today will do an iCloud search 30 years from now. #Priceless
Clarence Thomas should have resigned the moment Anita Hill testified.
That was true then, and it's true now.
He has proven—over and over again—that he is unfit to serve on our highest court.
Thomas must step down. And Congress must institute a code of ethics for SCOTUS. Now.
🇺🇸There are currently NO black women in the U.S. Senate, and I'm running to change that.
Fox News is smearing my record, and the GOP is raising MILLIONS against progressives like me, so I need your help. Will you chip in to my campaign before midnight tonight?
Let me introduce you to Virgil Lamar Ware. He was an eighth-grader, an A student who loved to play football.
Virgil had a bright future. He dreamed of becoming a lawyer.
All those hopes and dreams ended on September 15, 1963. The day he was gunned down in the aftermath of the Birmingham church bombing.
Virgil and his brother were returning home, totally unaware that the bombing had occurred.
They encountered Larry Joe Sims and Michael Lee Farley, two sixteen-year-olds coming from a segregationist rally.
When the white teens saw the Ware brothers, Farley told Sims to shoot, to “scare them.” Sims shot Virgil twice, once in the cheek and once in the chest.
The 13-year-old died on the Docena-Sandusky Road on the outskirts of Birmingham.
Young Virgil was buried on the side of the road up until 2004 when he was moved to a plot with a marker thanks to donations.
DeSantis and the likes want to hide this history. History is history.
DeSantis cites “white discomfort” I experience discomfort knowing that DeSantis and the likes don’t want Black history taught.
Black children were casualties of racism. It’s a fact. Children deserve to know and learn from it. #FreshResists #BlackHistoryWithLana
An indictment is incoming.
This meeting ⬇️ is exactly the event I was waiting for: defense meeting with prosecutors (which we saw in Manhattan and in FLA cases).
