.@AbbyMartin calls out hypocrisy of Sec Blinken: you lecture about press freedom but do nothing when Shireen Abu Akleh and Jamal Khashoggi, two journalists and US citizens, are murdered.
Why are you buying bullets for the worst abusers of journalists like Saudi Arabia & Israel?
I wanted to keep pressure on the US government for Israel’s murder of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh & hypocrisy of using “press freedom” to kill people with sanctions
@mishtal A bunch of white people with a illegal nuclear arsenal, who are from Europe colonize and have seized Arab land.
The world has woken up. The goal of the Israel is to exterminate native Palestinians. Israel is the most violent state in the world, so much hate you have.
It’s worth repeating. A mom drove there. Got handcuffed. Got out of handcuffs. Hopped a fence. Went inside the school and walked out with her two kids. All while 19 officers waited outside the classroom where the gunman was. #UvaldePolice#Uvalde
For Jewish supremacists too lazy to travel to Jerusalem, there are satellite “Death-to-the-Arabs!” marches in other Israeli cities, like this one in Lydda. Under police protection, aspiring pogromists stop at a school to sing about wiping out Palestinians https://t.co/lqUH3yIFz1
Zaid Ghneim, 15 years old, was murdered by the Israeli army in al-Khader, Bethlehem. He was shot in the head and neck. Stop killing Palestinian children. Israel to the #IntlCrimCourt.
In the past 2 weeks Israel has:
-Killed a top Palestinian journalist
-Killed a Palestinian boy
-Bombed Syria's intl airport, killing 3 people
-And now, very likely, assassinated an Iranian colonel in Tehran
Typical israel: bullying and picking on others, then playing the victim
Israel just bombed the Syrian capital Damascus damaging its international airport and risking the safety of civilian passengers. Years back, Israeli warplanes used civilian airliners as shields to cover against the Syrian missiles. Not Russia, so no sanctions or global outrage.
- Al Jazeera Journalist: “These are the owners of the house, how do you feel about living in a house built on the rubble of their old home?”
- Israeli settler: “I honestly don’t feel anything, I’m very happy. Living here is amusing”.
The Nakba in one picture.
Today marks the 74th anniversary of the 1948 Nakba (also known as the Palestinian Catastrophe) during which zionist military forces expelled 750,000 Palestinians from their homes, killed 15,000 others and destroyed about 500 towns to establish their so-called ‘state of Israel’.
