The rise of Trump, with his authoritarian tendencies, used to be among the scariest things in the world to me, as an American citizen.
But these days, Trump’s influence is waning; even if he wins, his apparent dementia, progressing quickly as best I can tell, will limit his direct influence.
It’s the people who he would bring with him — and their alternative realities (and skill at manipulating Trump) — that frighten me the most.
1. @elonmusk has every right to support Trump but he has become one of the most malign forces in politics
He has used his control of this platform to spread lies, many deeply rooted in racism, to millions of people
It is likely the most expensive disinformation campaign ever
(🚨) REMINDER (please RETWEET): since 2000, Republicans' Election Day gameplan has been to use various means to ensure that the longest voting lines will be in Democratic precincts.
Go to the polls prepared to wait—and whatever you do, DO NOT leave the line! It's what they want.
Retweeting this discussion of dementia because
1. Events in three subsequent days from simulated blow jobs to mangled syntax strongly confirm what I said
and
2. Voting for someone with so many signs of likely dementia is a really risky play, and I thought you should know.
Good luck at the polls, my Fellow Americans!

This police officer had one of the worst misconduct records at Columbus PD, wasn’t held accountable, and then murdered Andre Hill: https://t.co/UTVJvj0eTs
Sometimes I think Republicans must laugh like crazy in private about Democrats tolerating the electoral college, which means they win the popular vote by a mile but still have a scrum over who wins the election. It's time for us to change that & have a fair system
“Two women about to give birth were shot and bled to death in the street, staff said.” Snipers shot pregnant women fleeing to a hospital. They shot pregnant women!
Musk thinks he knows all about economics and election law; Trump thinks he knows all about missles (and everything else).
Neither of them know what they don’t know.
Please note that banning fluoride in the water would not just mean a lot of cavities in kids. It would mean a sharp rise in tooth infections. I had a dear friend die from an infection in a tooth that spread to her heart. RFK, Jr would be a merchant of destruction and death
The GOP loves blaming the deficit on Social Security and Medicare. But the real culprit is giveaways to corporations and the rich.
If not for the regressive tax cuts under Bush and Trump, we would have a stable debt-to-GDP ratio.
That's one thing the GOP will never tell you.
If you make less than $360,000 per year, your taxes will actually INCREASE under Donald Trump.
Anyone making more than $360,000 will get a tax cut.
Trump's pitching more trickle-down economic nonsense, but please tell me again that he's the candidate for working people.
