My single prediction for 2H26 in the peptide world:

Bacteriostatic saline becomes the new standard for reconstitution.

Not because it’s cheaper. (It is.) Not because it’s easier to source. (It is).

Because as people start paying attention to formulation science instead of simply copying what everyone else has always done, they’ll realize it’s often the better choice for many peptides.

Unlike bacteriostatic water, saline provides an isotonic, ionic environment that’s much closer to physiological conditions. Read: it mimics what’s inside your body already. For some peptides and proteins, that can mean better solubility, less aggregation, reduced adsorption to glass, and potentially improved stability over time.

I think we’ll eventually look back and realize most people in the peptide space are just singing from the same Jay Campbell/Hunter Williams song sheet (tremendous staring point by the way), and some of us will stand on the shoulders of those giants.
