@ChShersh My pov: a framework typically controls the main function (entrypoint) and the runtime, while a library can be called into only when needed.
KiCad is absolutely amazing, but if I could change one thing, I'd make footprint libraries able to render as tables with custom columns. This is such a mess to browse through :(
