We’re excited to announce that Ondo has launched the first tokenized stock representations based on DTC tokenized entitlements to DTC-held securities generated through the DTCC Tokenization Service.
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the U.S. securities markets, processing approximately USD 4.7 quadrillion in securities transactions in 2025.
Ondo joins DTCC’s largest tokenization initiative to date alongside BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq, & NYSE.
How the landmark issuance works:
1. The DTCC Tokenization Service enables the recording of DTC tokenized entitlements (also referred to as digital twins) to DTC-held securities such as CRCL and SPY, which can be delivered to DTC Participant wallets for use in connection with customers such as Ondo.
2. In our case, the DTC tokenized entitlements associated with CRCL and SPY serve as digital twins of the securities underlying existing CRCLon and SPYon Ondo Stocks.
3. DTC-held securities can be converted between traditional and tokenized forms, enabling greater flexibility, access to new liquidity opportunities, and additional digital asset use cases.
4. That additional functionality can enhance the utility of assets such as CRCLon and SPYon (Ondo Stocks) held across Ondo’s global partner network of exchanges, wallets, & DeFi platforms.
Ondo Finance CEO Ian De Bode on what comes next:
“As tokenized securities markets continue to evolve, Ondo expects to play a leading role in bringing these assets onchain for investors.”
The AppChain is the part worth watching. DTCC's collateral platform is Besu-based, runs on Chainlink's CRE and data standard, and automates eligibility, valuation, margining and settlement. It goes live in Q4. Today's production trades were the Tokenization Service, a separate rail.
The White House is coming to the table on the one thing blocking CLARITY
Senior officials are expected to sit down with senators Thursday over the bill's ethics section, per CoinDesk. One source puts chief of staff Susie Wiles in the room.
That provision is the whole fight. Democrats want the president, VP and Congress barred from personal crypto business. The White House has said it'll accept rules running from the president down to the newest intern, but not a bill aimed at one officeholder.
Thune says he's bringing CLARITY to the floor this month either way. The near-final text was due this week and may already be slipping. Somebody has to move first.
🔥 BIG! The #DTCC tokenization is now in live production. J.P. Morgan already completed the first tokenized #QQQ conversion! Other transactions have been also been tested with more participants moving through today's rollout as tokenized assets enter real market infrastructure 👇🏼

Wall Street is taking another major step toward blockchain adoption. JPMorgan, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and other leading financial institutions are participating in a DTCC pilot to tokenize U.S. stocks and Treasuries, bringing traditional assets onchain. As tokenization gains momentum, many believe blockchain networks built for institutional finance—such as the $XRP Ledger—could benefit from the growing demand for faster, more efficient asset settlement.
Erling Haaland paid $134,000 for a 430-year-old Viking kings manuscript, then gifted it to his hometown. He said: “I’ve never been a big reader, but I want people to read about those who came from my area.”
Erling Haaland and his father, Alf-Inge Haaland, quietly acquired one of Norway’s greatest literary treasures at auction: a 1594 edition of Snorri Sturluson’s Kongesagaer. Translated by Mattis Størssøn from Old Norse into Danish, it was the first printed history of Norway and helped preserve the stories of the nation’s medieval kings for generations.
Widely regarded as one of the most significant works in Norwegian literary history, the copy purchased by the Haalands was the only complete edition still in private ownership. It sold for 1.3 million Norwegian kroner (about $134,000), setting the record as the most expensive Norwegian book ever sold at auction.
Instead of keeping the rare volume in a private collection, the Haalands donated it to the library in Time Municipality, where Erling grew up. The book is now on public display, and the donation also funded a reading competition to inspire local children and young people to discover Norway’s history and literary heritage.
Huge congrats to @nchakar, Dan Doney and the entire @The_DTCC team on today's milestone.
