“பெண்ணியம்… பெண் விடுதலை…” என்று மேடையில் வசனம் பேசுவார்கள்.
“பெரியார் எங்கள் கொள்கைத் தலைவர்” என்று மார்���ட்டுவார்கள்.ஆனால், ஒரு பெண் “அரசு சிறப்பாக செயல்படுகிறது” என்று சொன்ன ஒரே காரணத்திற்காக, அவரை ஆபாச வார்த்தைகளால் கூட்டமாகத் தாக்குகிறார்கள்.

இதுதான் திமுகவின் பெண் விடுதலைக் கோட்பாடா?
தங்களது அரசியலைப் புகழ்ந்தால், ஆட்சியைப் பாராட்டினால் அவர்களைப் பாராட்டுவது. எதிர்க்கருத்து கூறினால், அவர் பெண் என்றும் பாராமல், ஆபாச வார்த்தைகளால் வசைபாடி, தனிமனித தாக்குதலில் ஈடுபடுவது.

வாதத்திற்கு பதிலாக வசைபாடும் அரசியல் ஜனநாயகம் அல்ல, அது அரசியல் வக்கிரம். பெரியார் பெயரை உச்சரிப்பதால் மட்டும் கொள்கை வந்துவிடாது. பெண்ணை மதிக்கும் பண்பும் வேண்டும்.

பேரறிஞர் அண்ணா காலத்திற்குப் பிறகான திமுகவில் உட்புகுத்தப்பட்ட ஆபாசமும் அவதூறும் திமுகவினரின் DNA -வில் ஊறிப்போய் தற்போதுவரை தொடர்ந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறது.

“அறிவார்ந்த IT Wing” என்று எவ்வளவு சொன்னாலும், மக்களுக்குத் தெரியும்,
அது அறிவார்ந்தது அல்ல… ஆபாச IT Wing என்று!

ஆனால் காலம் மாறிவிட்டது.

மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர், வெற்றித் தலைவர் அவர்கள் தலைமையிலான ஆட்சியில், பெண்களை இழிவுபடுத்தி அரசியல் செய்ய யாருக்கும் இடமில்லை.

பெண்களை இழிவுபடுத்தினால் பதவி, கட்சி, ஆள் என்ற பாகுபாடின்றி சட்டப்படி நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும்.ஆபாச அரசியலுக்கு இனி சட்டத்தின் மொழியில்தான் ��தில்!

The fact that a video of a woman simply going about her day can spark political hysteria tells you everything about the fragile, regressive mindset behind it. But I’m not surprised! What else can you expect from followers of a leader with a track record of deeply derogatory remarks against women?

For the record: the woman in that video is not me. But even if it were, why should it matter?

Why are a woman’s clothes, appearance, or joy still treated as matters for public trial?

When they can’t challenge us on our policies, governance, or track record, they resort to manufacturing narratives about personal lives of leaders and their family members. Misogyny is the oldest weapon of those who have nothing substantive to positively contribute.

And, To the woman in the video, dragged into this simply due to a passing resemblance: I’m sorry. You look stunning, and I hope you keep living on your own terms (and loving those highlights! ✨).

This is exactly why I repeatedly say the DMK ecosystem has become so deeply rotten.

Today, DMK-supporting abusive IDs brought out and circulated a video of a woman in a modern short dress, claiming that she resembles a TVK woman politician, and spent the entire day trolling, mocking and abusing her over the video.

That TVK woman politician has chosen a public political life, Criticism of her political views is fair, but dragging a woman’s appearance, clothing and dignity with a fake video into political attacks is nothing but misogyny.

The so-called “முற்போக்கு” dmk gang seems to remember women’s freedom and dignity only when it suits their politics.

From Udhayanidhi Stalin to abusive online DMK-supporting IDs, it often feels like they invest far more energy in abusing and humiliating women than in debating their political ideas.

தலைவன் எவ்வழியோ, தொண்டன் அவ்வழியே.

When abuse becomes the language of political communication, what kind of message does that send to society?

Thank God, @CMOTamilnadu Anna came into politics and gave Tamil Nadu women a stronger political alternative.

Imagine if the DMK were still in power, what would the situation be for women like us, when even their online ecosystem normalises abusing and humiliating women?

It would be a truly pathetic state for women in Tamil Nadu.
