You may think that I bought my MacBook Pro because of its best in class silicon, it’s excellent battery, it’s wonderful mini-LED screen, it’s incredible glass haptic trackpad, but NO!!!
I bought my Apple because of my perception of community. THAT is worth $1,800 to me.
Hi @AppleSupport
iPad true-depth failure since 26.5 dev beta 2, it’s at beta 4, no fixes.
I’ve uploaded info on feedback.
No error shown in Face ID settings, true depth isn’t working while taking selfie portrait or unlocking device.
All diagnostics steps have been followed.
Things I’ve learned since the Macbook Neo was announced:
- Turns out even a $499 MacBook can be controversial.
- According to tech twitter, 8gb of ram isn’t enough for note taking, opening up a website and running the ChatGPT app at the same time.
- everyone really did want colorful MacBooks
- Android users are defending windows
- Steve Jobs would have approved this
- the iPad Air is cooked
- Rest in peace Chromebooks
- people think an iPhone chip is bad
- If edit 8K video while rendering a 3D animation, while exporting a podcast, running 100 Chrome tabs, Final Cut, Blender, and still checking email like nothing’s happening, during simulating an entire city in a game engine just to test shadows and running four external displays while the fans barely wake up… the Neo is not for you.
Hey, @LukeMiani I saw your video on MacBook maintenance, and I have a query. Any info on how to avoid permanent keyboard markings on the screen? Based on what I looked into, Screen protectors are highly debated, and I have struggled with these marks on older MacBooks.
