They were poorly designed and caught fire, with 2 dozen properties destroyed.

These awards are pay to win - shoddy work like that undertaken by Bellway must be condemned, not applauded.

[New] L&Q & @lbbdcouncil found guilty of maladministration by the Housing Ombudsman over ignoring residents complaints over balcony build quality prior to their collapse.

The landlord and freeholder respectively neglected their duty to address the category 1 risk to life hazard and instead took no action to even inspect the 77 defective units.

The councils claim it wasn’t liable has been found untrue by the housing ombudsman, who have deemed them one of the parties responsible for doing more.
