@Central_IL_Wx @MatthewCappucci Oh I see now lol gotcha, to add on the Effingham storm was very well ventilated which made sense given HRRR soundings for that time frame in that area had about 20 or so knots of SR outflow, which I think helped counteract the 2+ PWATT environment, plus eventual daytime heating.

@Central_IL_Wx @MatthewCappucci Anomalous shear can cover for weaker thermodynamics in my experience, plus this storm had access to air that was able to undergo air mass recovery, which was an issue earlier in the day when storms fired much quicker than expected after MCS departure
