California's Governor Gavin Newsom boasts that two-thirds of the state's power comes from "renewable and zero-carbon" sources, but this claim is a classic case of green deception. The reality? Wind and solar aren't truly carbon-free or renewable. Their production relies heavily on fossil fuels, from mining materials like copper and lithium to manufacturing in coal-dependent factories, often in China or Southeast Asia.

For instance, solar panels are mostly made with polysilicon produced near coal plants, and even with U.S. tariffs, Chinese-linked firms have shifted operations to avoid scrutiny. This means "green" energy imports carry a massive carbon debt, while consumers pat themselves on the back for virtue signaling.

Worse, these systems aren't cheap. California has some of the highest electricity prices in the U.S., nearly double the national average, thanks to hidden costs like backups for intermittent wind and solar. The state suffers frequent outages and grid alerts, proving that fossil fuels are still the reliable backbone propping up "renewables."

In truth, every wind turbine and solar panel tells a story of fossil fuel dependency and environmental hypocrisy. Claims of "zero-carbon" energy are just smoke and mirrors, backed by coal furnaces abroad and paid for by overcharged Americans.

This commentary highlights the flaws in the climate narrative pushed by politicians. Fossil fuels remain essential, and the push for "green" energy often ignores real-world impacts.

During the Covid pandemic, we witnessed that politicians who opposed global Covid measures had a very low life expectancy. Within a short period, the presidents of Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Haiti, Swaziland, and Burundi died in 2020 and 2021.

While speculation about their deaths continues, it is clear that politicians who stand against the narrative cannot be certain of their lives, whereas those obedient to the WEF sit more securely in their chairs than ever.
