Enjoyed to go through my viva today, appreciate the #erosive approach of my examiners towards an improved understanding off the #morphology of my thesis.
Thanks to my supervisors and all other support along the #braided course of my #PhD.

Our July blog post is online! @BasBodewes writes about our @BSG_Postgrads fieldtrip in April this year. Despite challenging weather conditions (storm Hannah!), it was an awesome trip! Give it a read! @BSG_Geomorph https://t.co/v58ZSZNI0p
A large number of windows are normally nice in UK summer, now it just emphasise the last two weeks of dark grey and wet skies we had @GeographyHull in June.
Guess a lab without windows (@TotEnvSimulator ) is not so bad now.
Huuuge congratulations to @ChloeMorris_13 who successfully defended her PhD on Modelling Coastal Dynamics this afternoon! ππ π₯π₯Many thanks to @GeomorphologyDr & @DrChrisHackney for examining!
#FlumeFriday summarises the end of a week full of #experiments with mini #rivers in all kind of shapes. More than happy to be forced to watch rivers shape the landscape. #phdlife
#sediment transport in a small #experiment feels similar to a PhD, like words and thoughts being streamlined in ideas, and in the end there comes the bigger picture; #morphology and #thesis#phdlife
