@0xfinwizz removes the bridge step so new teams reconcile straight on base rails. float starts earning yield immediately instead of sitting during offchain hops.
modern treasury on base just went live with direct usdc flows for payments and reconciliation.
This lets treasury teams park float on base-native rails without the bridge step, so settlement speed improves and yield can actually accrue in the onchain stables instead of sitting idle offchain.
The catch is any mismatch in how the backend reconciles onchain txs against their existing ledger, especially once volumes pick up. I'm watching the first few weeks of live usage before moving exposure.
hydrex just added veHYDX borrowing on @40acres_Finance.
Leaning in for the extra usdc loop but the liquidation window tightens fast once ve power gets haircut on gauge votes.
Rotating a slice out of the morpho vault instead.
