Happy late birthday to the man who transformed America and ended the trickle-down scam—the only President to ever have a budget *surplus*, @BillClinton 👏🏾🐐
President Bill Clinton was my Commander-in-Chief. I never once questioned whether he had a better relationship with Dictators and our enemies than he did with the other leaders in our own country. I knew whose side he was on.
Bill Clinton is reading not from a teleprompter, but pages of actual paper. Which, for those of us who started covering him in the '92 campaign, means he didn't finish his last version of his speech in time to load it on the teleprompter.
.@BillClinton on Kamala Harris: "When she was young, she worked at McDonald's...I will be so happy when she actually enters the White House as president because she will break my record as the president who spent the most time at @McDonalds.
If words from a grandma in Ohio mean anything I'd like to add my two cents to why not only Democrats Still Need Bill Clinton but America needs Bill Clinton. The years with Bill Clinton as President were good, very good years for the American people. I loved the man, still do.
Bill Clinton was and still is the first president to leave the White House in his second term with a surplus. One of the best in the presidency. #DNC2024
My parents just hung up on me so they could listen to Bill Clinton speak at the DNC.
There's a clear pecking order in this family and I know where I stand
“I have no idea how many more of these I’ll be able to come to… here’s what I want you to know: if you vote for this team — if you get them elected — you’ll be proud of it for the rest of your life. Your children will be proud of it.”
- Bill Clinton
I friggin LOVE former President Bill Clinton and really do not care what anyone thinks about it. He was one of the best Presidents of my lifetime. Those years were the best years of my life. As a single mom I made it to each paycheck in the green. Something I took for granted.
Bill Clinton is hoarse and speaks slowly and his hands shake but as a speaker he’s still unmatched. If you look close you can see when he goes to the script and when he rewrites it on the fly. Talks like he’s in your living room. The master.
One of @billclinton’s most striking points from last night, now as a chart:
Since the end of the Cold War in 1989, America has created about 51 million new jobs. What's the score? Democrats 50, Republicans 1.

Bill Clinton on Trump: He mostly talks about himself. So the next time you hear him, don't count the lies -- count the i's ... he tries to get his lungs open by saying 'me me me me me' ... do you want to spend the next four years talking about crowd size?
I worked in Bill Clinton’s White House.
I’m still proud of him, I’m proud of our accomplishments, and I’m damn proud to be a Democrat.
