Today, we're bringing agentic capabilities to AI Mode in Search for Google AI Ultra subscribers. But... what is actually different?
Let's say you want to make a dinner reservation. Traditionally, that would require multiple searches, concurrent tabs, and a lot of manual comparisons to find a suitable restaurant with availability that works with your schedule. Not to mention having to jump through multiple hoops to ultimately make your booking.
Now, with agentic capabilities in AI Mode, Search is able to browse multiple sites at once to find real-time availability for restaurants that meet your specific needs (location, cuisines, group size, etc) and then present you with a curated list with available reservation time slots. Finally, AI Mode will link you directly to the booking page, so you can easily take the last step and finalize your reservation.
