I have a desire to defend women against the claim that they are hostile to other women or play vicious social games bc I’ve never experienced those things, but it’s very possible that I’ve obliviously sailed through life simply not noticing those undercurrents

This happened to me too! Sans the baby shower, and actually it was to my face, but yeah, same! And also a guy was part of it! That’s actually why I bring it up, like I have met awful, awful women, but at the same time I’ve met men who are awful in the exact same way?

Anyway I’m getting carried away. I’m so sorry. That’s a betrayal of the highest order. I hope you never have to deal with her again
