Thank you for the reset and for being transparent about Sol.
I’m a solo entrepreneur and programmer. I have a full-time job during the day, so the only real window I have to build my own projects is a few focused hours every evening.
When the 5-hour limit was paused, those evenings became incredibly productive. I could stay in deep flow, ship real features, and make actual progress on the products I’m building. Having to stop mid-session and wait for a reset completely breaks that momentum — and as a solo builder, I simply don’t have the luxury of waiting around all day.
Please consider keeping the 5-hour limit paused (or at least making it optional). For people like me, this freedom is the difference between slowly grinding and actually moving fast.
Sol is already helping solo founders do more than we ever could before. Don’t take that away.

@mark_k @OpenAI I'm not using GPT-5 Thinking with Codex CLI yet because I’m concerned it might consume my 3,000 Thinking calls. For now, I’ve been sticking with regular GPT-5 in Codex. Does anyone know if Codex CLI usage counts against the Thinking quota? (I’m on the Plus plan.)
