One of my favorite things about writing letters of rec is how students are like, "I'm not sure if you remember me, but..." and it's ALWAYS a student I will never forget!
@JessicaLTami In the 3rd year. I defended with only one publication but chugged through a lot of data/reactions that seemed to be worthless, ended up being very valuable in the big picture. Laying the foundation is the hardest part but made everything easier later
Please consider the Ronald McDonald House Charities for your donations this year. They helped my family through a very difficult time that would have felt impossible without them. Special shout out to the RMHC of the Central Valley.

Tomorrow is the very first ‘From Our House To Yours’ Telethon! Be sure to tune in all day on KSEE24 to hear some of our guest families stories and the impact #RMHCCV had in their lives. To donate now, visit https://t.co/MCAGco8SCm or text "RONALD" to 56512 to support #RMHCCV!
@rosenthal_lab@ChemRxiv We haven't tried anything like that, but that N-N bond definitely likes to be reduced. We'd love for anyone to try out some chemistry with the reagent and would gladly offer any tips or tricks.
Check out our new reagent for transnitrosation. It is bench stable, works great at room temp, and can be used to make 15N isotopologues. Prep and experimental procedures available on @ChemRxiv

@ndchiappini@FindlaterGroup Haha, yes! Definitely need to be safe with handling these products. The SAR for what makes them exciting medicinal targets vs. teratogens is wide open for exploration
@UCMerced_NatSci professors Andrea Merg, Carrie Menke, Michelle Leslie and Petra Kranzfelder are all recipients of the 2020 Remote Instruction Excellence Award for creating an efficient and supportive online learning environment. Thank you and congratulations to all!
California long has been regarded as a bellwether of the nation, a progressive place with leadership that dares to try new things — many of those progressive ideas have come from the research conducted and developed in UC faculty labs. https://t.co/BvHJF4qBPn
Congrats to Ryan Brisbin on his first publication!! Our official entry into nanochemistry! (thank goodness for talented collaborators)
