Moved from my POM role to a COM role a few days ago. 25 cases allocated to me yesterday, parole reports outstanding and a parole hearing scheduled on my birthday. A great welcome to community probation for me 😞

Had a note left on my desk from one of my chaps today, which ended “for all your help Beth ‘thank you’, I really do appreciate it” & a little smiley face drawn 😁 (for context I’ve done nothing extraordinary, just been a listening ear for him) sometimes it’s the little things🙂

On track for a completion date next month 🏠 although it’ll be an 80 mile commute to work (that’s just 1 way!!!!), hoping a job near home will come up soon😩
