The charity has obviously decided its better to get the income from an £8 ticket than non at all. It's not government subsidised, just a business decision.

@Unionbuster @Ed_Miliband Looked into the stuff in there, it's interesting looking at the additional costs. But looking online at how the pricing the market cfd and contract cfd aren't additive. Looks like cfds under market price actually pay into the difference of contracts over the market price

@Unionbuster @Ed_Miliband The above states network costs increased significantly, and the highest increase in price on the graph was due to wholesale price increases. Why are we an outlier on the second graph? Eu average marginal rate is 40%, we pay 98%.

@WoodyBrum @tommo5458 @DamianLow3 @NicolaDJayne Larger employers will pay more, the smallest companies will pay less as the allowance has more than doubled. Biggest % increase is for large organisations paying minimum wage.

@tommo5458 @DamianLow3 @NicolaDJayne Minimum wage went up, most supermarkets are putting wages up. Royal mail increasing wages. NI exemption more than doubled so almost 2/3 of employers will pay the same or less NI. Do agree that they need to stop energy companies taking the piss though.

@basedsubotai @MartinSLewis Wind and solar are almost 1/3 the cost per Mwh of gas. Still obviously need gas currently, but why is 30% on average of the supply the price we pay for everything. If it was one or the other would be cheaper decoupling than scraping subsidies.
