@ifrins@rjonesy@FlightyApp Yep, both true! My gut says it feels solvable, but famous last words and I'm sure you appreciate my Monday-morning quarterbacking with things you've already tried 😆. Updated the gist with a POC for the first one — hopefully you could pause a propertyAnimator instead?
@rjonesy@FlightyApp@ifrins Literally the simplest way possible 😂 But I figured if MapKit can stand up to having its camera/mapRect updated at 60fps then you can make it work even if you have to write something a little gnarly to sync things up. https://t.co/Z892SvwZ4D
@rjonesy@FlightyApp I think it's doable, some slight MapKit layout jank aside. How you draw the plane + path might pose some limitations but I doubt insurmountable
Every day, I go to work, and I know that some ppl view me this way. I don’t know which ppl, but I’ve heard shit like this enough that I know it’s ever-present in our world. It angers me to see these viewpoints expressed by someone in a leadership role at my own company.
@Susan_Hennessey I sincerely hope that this revolting take is borne of ignorance and not malice, Susan. I can sort of see how it would be a plausible reaction if you didn't know any of the details. Please do a few minutes of research, or reach out to someone who has.
@MiniRacker@RepMikeGarcia Simply repeating and amplifying what a fabulist says is stenography, not journalism. His claim is an indisputable lie. Do your job and say so. Supporters of the coup are retweeting you because you gave a stamp of imprimatur to their falsehoods.
Tomorrow! (What a mess. Apple gave developers zero hints about the release, then just drops it the day after the event without a GM. As if developer relations weren’t already suffering, this is just icing on the cake. Seriously, what is even going on with Apple these days.)
@loujacobson@charles_gaba@PolitiFact “Telling the truth would require us to change something, so instead we'll just lie to our readers outright.” Cool, cool, cool.
@dwlz I looked in to it when it first came out; the API limits how many numbers you can add so you can’t do a global-minus-contacts thing (which is what I wanted). There are apps that will block what I think you meant by your pattern (i.e. 10000 at a time) like https://t.co/td0BZL10YA
@DaveWoodX@rjonesy@ChristianSelig /.*/ :)
Guessing this is part of the new API — currently includes "probable web search" and "probable web URL". Haven't found any fuller documentation, though. https://t.co/LV9g7bPuXB
@_delconte I was literally in the middle of writing a tweet to suggest this — I would think a big screen on the Longhorn City Limits stage would be doable logistically. As someone without a realistic chance at a ticket I’d love it if your team would seriously consider this!
@aphyr@aphyrr Is it possibly correlated with accounts marked as NSFW in Twitter safety settings? (Even if so, shouldn’t be blocked for users that have the NSFW-okay option checked.)
