@EasternDaylight Interesting stuff, do you have 1/2 as just an axis of symmetry or an attractor? 1/n and 1-1/n are essentially destructive interference. If you have 1/2 as an attractor, a resonant cavity might emerge
as a byproduct of directed evolution
@EasternDaylight What do you think might happen if you ran a stern brocot guided sim? boundaries 1/n 1-1/n as input, symmetric about 1/2, resonant in the central farey fan?
@CymaticJoule Oh damn I didn’t even connect it to imaginaries yet… stern brocot tree! the nodes 1/3 and 2/3 are like the black and white dots in the yin yang and everything else is a spectrum
@way_opener@renegadesilicon oh hell no lol it requires a whole architectural upgrade to actually utilize. Tokens are fucken useless in isolation; but yeah a token oriented manifold would need higher d because all tokens are their own identities
@WillowChem You need to express concepts in terms of each other, we just can’t right now because each token is technically its own representation. New architecture required
Intelligent people struggle with addiction. Their minds need more. They have obsessions nobody around them shares. Philosophy. Astronomy. Dostoevsky. Jazz. Quantum physics. Things they know deeply. Things they've gone so deep into that anything else feel like small talk. And small talk feels like suffocation. So... they drink. Work until 2 am. Doomscroll until they're numb. Because there is a gap. A gap between who you are and the conversations available to you. And it's one of the loneliest places a person can live.
