Meet scientist & researcher @pmarignani. We were grateful to catch-up with her last week at @SABCSSanAntonio.
Earlier this year, BCC awarded a $250,000 grant to Dr. Marignani for her study in HER2-positive breast cancer, which makes up one third of breast cancers in Canada.
#BREAKING: Dalhousie University has declared an outbreak of meningitis in one residence after a student suddenly died from the disease.

🌞☕️👂🏻”hopeful 4 the day when women can B recognized as being competent & likeable, when we value each other regardless of gender…..That would be the day that I won't have to worry about being liked. I can just be me” https://t.co/wyeNBMTHLI
@bradwouters@CTVNews So be it.😷 No problem, let's get political about safety. Up til now, majority of scientists have been patient with anti-mask and anti-vaxers.
Game on!
Lifting mask mandates to satisfy political and election ambition is short sighted, reckless and irresponsible.
.....and they always show up late, then expect you to answer the very questions that were covered (thus repeating yourself).
Please break students of this bad habit in gradeschool or first few years of highschool.
Why is it always male students that call female professors by their first name? Reminder 2 students; when communicating with professor, use 1 of the following:
1) Dear Dr.X (insert last name)
2) Dear Professor X
3) Hello Dr. X
4) Hello Professor X
5) good morning/afternoon Dr. X
Suggestion to Students. Probably a good idea to read the syllabus for each of your courses. Try not to ask questions that are covered in the syllabus.....Just confirms you haven't read it.
This tweet featuring Dr. Paola Marignani's (@PMarignani) work on early-stage #LungCancer at @DalhousieU swoops in at number #4! 👏
