@QFoysal is an academic specializing in public international law and a qualified lawyer currently lecturing at the American International University- Bangladesh. He is also the Deputy Director at the @bcolp2022.

Mr. Foysal holds advanced degrees from prestigious institutions, including UCLouvain (Belgium), the Geneva Academy (Switzerland), and Dhaka University. He is also an alumnus of the Yeosu Academy of the Law of the Sea, further solidifying his expertise in the law of the sea.

Meet Ms Shushmita Ahmed, a PhD Candidate at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, researching deep seabed mining from Third World perspectives. She holds a Master of Environmental Law from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Ms Ahmed has further enhanced her expertise by completing diplomas from the Summer Academy on Continental Shelf, co-organized by the @NUSingapore and the The University of the Faroe Islands Islands, as well as the 8th Yeosu Academy of the Law of the Sea in Korea.

through his roles as a Consultant for the FAO and UNODC and as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at Yokohama City University, Japan. His research focused on the regional and international management of fisheries and the conservation of marine environment.

Meet Dr. @abduarif, currently a Lecturer at Macquarie Law School and the Founding Director of the @bcolp2022 . Dr. Arif’s commitment to the field is evident in his founding of BCOLP, which aims to foster research and development among emerging legal scholars.

BCOLP serves as a key platform for advancing knowledge, with this training workshop marking one of its flagship initiatives focused on Sea Law from Bangladesh perspective. Dr. Arif has also served as a Teaching Fellow at the UNSW and has demonstrated his passion for the field..
