As the Senate hearing goes on regarding college athletics, there is a vocal minority involving labor unions, combined with organizations like NAACP who have concerns about any regulation of NIL.

Contrast that to the damage that will be done across the board of 200,000 participating division one athletes if the Bill in question isn’t passed.

Then note that the total number of NIL paid athletes in 2025 was a Mayor 5% of those 200,000 athletes.

So these “concerned” voices might advocate for the destruction of non-revenue, college sports and Olympic sports for the benefit of a very few!
